Singer Vehicle Design’s New 4.0L Flat Six Engine Is A Work Of Art

When we interviewed Rob Dickinson, the main man behind Singer Vehicle Design, it was clear that his obsession of and appreciation for the Porsche 911 was boundless. At the Monterey Car Week, Singer took the next step in 911-based performance: a very special 4.0-litre flat-6 engine.

Assembled by Ed Pink Racing Engine, it boasts 390 horsepower at 7,200 rpm and rocks custom Mahle pistons and cylinders; a bespoke long-stroke camshaft; cylinder heads by Extreme; and unique Carrillo rods.
