Naturally aspirated | Carbon fiber bodywork | 6-Speed manual
Through the Classic services we explored collaboration with owners in pursuit of their personal vision for the ultimate air-cooled Porsche 911.
The results enabled owners to celebrate Porsche’s heritage, drawing inspiration from the F-model 911s of the late ‘60s and early ‘70s, while reimagining their performance and capability for the twenty-first century. Each restoration is unique and begins with the owner’s Type 964 Porsche 911.
Classic services can be seen at Singer’s main stand in front of the Stableyard.
Porsche 911s reimagined through Classic services are powered by an evolution of the original type 964 Mezger flat-six engine and remain naturally aspirated. Displacement optionality ranges across 3.6, 3.8 or 4.0 litres, enabling outputs of up to 390HP. A Singer specific exhaust system has been specified and can be crafted in titanium if desired.

The process begins when the owner of a Type 964 Porsche 911 sends their car to Singer with the request to carry out a personalized restoration.
The owner’s car is carefully disassembled. The interior is removed, as is the exterior bodywork and all mechanical components, until the steel monocoque (chassis) is revealed. The chassis is painstakingly assessed, cleaned, strengthened, and prepared so that it is in optimal condition for the next stages of the restoration. Bespoke carbon fiber body panels are fitted, simultaneously reducing weight and enhancing chassis stiffness.
